CAMERON, Christopher JF
Computational Scientist, NYSBC
Chicago, IL
I am a computational biologist working at the New York Structural Biology Center (New York, NY, USA). My postdoctoral work was focused on integrating prior information into cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo-EM) image processing and supervised by Profs. Mark B Gerstein and Hemant D Tagare at Yale University (New Haven, CT, USA). Under the supervision of Profs. Mathieu Blanchette and Josée Dostie at McGill University (Montréal, QC, CAN), I obtained a PhD in Computer Science with a concentration in bioinformatics (2019). My PhD dissertation focused on high-resolution bioinformatics approaches, statistical modeling and machine learning in 3D regulatory genomics – in particular, data obtained from chromosome conformation capture and chromatin immunoprecipitation.
If you are interested in collaborating, please contact me as I am always happy to talk science over a beer.
